What Is Solea Sleep?
Most snoring is caused by overly relaxed throat, tongue, and mouth muscles that obstruct your airway while you sleep.
Solea Sleep is a laser treatment that targets and tightens collagen in your mouth to help prevent it from relaxing too much while you sleep, reducing how much you snore. While Solea Sleep isn’t a sleep apnea treatment, it could help manage snoring symptoms related to apnea and possibly improve your quality of sleep.
Is It Right for You?
Depending on whether you have sleep apnea or just struggle with snoring, we may recommend a combination of Solea Sleep and our Vivos sleep apnea appliance. In some cases, we may have you take our Home Sleep Test so we can monitor your sleeping habits and tailor a treatment appropriate to your needs.

How Long Is the Procedure?
Solea Sleep is a simple procedure that can take as little as 5 minutes to complete. During the treatment, your dentist will target palate muscles responsible for snoring to tighten the collagen and help prevent it from vibrating while you sleep.
Is There Pain?
Solea Sleep is a relatively pain-free treatment with no downtime, but you may experience some irritation or soreness in treated areas for a few days.
If you’re concerned about gagging, we can help by offering an anesthetic to keep you relaxed.
What Are the Results?
Solea Sleep should deliver immediate results that last up to 12 to 15 months. We may recommend a follow-up treatment during that time as collagen naturally loosens after a while, meaning your snoring symptoms could return.
